NEW SINGLE: Stellar Moon 'Still Tea' + upcoming album 'Phases'

Stellar Moon aspires to ignite inner revolutions and empower with the new single 'STILL TEA'
+ Announces debut album PHASES

A lover of the Moon and all things Astrology, singer Monique Le Lievre aka Stellar Moon is a First Nations artist hailing from the ancient lands of the Kimberley and is a Nyikina Jarndoo woman.  She brings a big soul sound with dashes of funk and rock, singing soulful deep tunes about connection to self, to country, about breaking free from conditioning, and healing wounds.

Stellar Moon aspires to ignite inner revolutions and empower, not only those around her but also those who listen to her music far and wide, with her latest storytelling via the song 'Still Tea', set for release on Thursday 2 November, the second single lifted from her forthcoming debut album Phases, to be released on Thursday 7 March 2024.

Following on from the previously released 'Out of the Dark', 'Still Tea' leads with powerful vocals and lyrics, and punchy horns with an ending that’s all soul. A formidable song that beckons us to all raise the bar to seek and expand knowledge when it comes to working and interacting with First Nations people, "Still Tea is my funky feisty response to a lifetime of people questioning my Aboriginality due to the colour of my skin. The song is based on a well-known saying among First Nations people; “No matter how much milk you pour in the tea, it’s still tea.” - Stellar Moon

A rebuttal to people who base race on the colour of skin, Stellar Moon's message in 'Still Tea' is clear,
"It's so much more than that."

'Still Tea' out Thursday 2 November 2023

Stellar Moon is both a musician & visual artist, romanced by the Moon and teacher of her phases. She has toured WA extensively and supported Australian greats such as Daryl Braithwaite and The Waifs, sharing her songs to awaken the power within so listeners may rebel enough to question the status quo, stand up for their country, fall radically in love with themselves and learn to live in unapologetic full expression of themselves.

Stir your inner awakening and deeper appreciation with our lady Luna by entering Stellar Moon's realm and be encompassed by her empowering voice, infectious smile and healing energies via her music and song.
