NEW ALBUM: SEETALI 'It's Not You; It's Me' + focus track 'Learn To Let You Go'

Enter the labyrinth of synths in producer SEETALI’s debut album It’s Not You; It’s Me
+ feature track ‘Learn To Let You Go’ with Kitty Rae

Enter the labyrinth of synth drenched emotions in the wonderland of producer storyteller SEETALI’s debut album It’s Not You; It’s Me, out now. While named after the common cliché breakup turn of phrase, It’s Not You; It’s Me is anything but, joining previously released singles ‘Angel Eyes’, and collaboration with fellow Naarm producer Kevin Silvester on 'Love You Blind’, collating over 700k streams on a Twitch Spotify playlist, and more, and album feature ‘Learn To Let You Go’ featuring Naarm based pop artist Kitty Rae.

Out now amongst the material of It’s Not You; It’s Me, feature single ‘Learn To Let You Go’ is an electro pop bop exploring the universal hardships of letting go through SEETALI’s crisp production and beats and the sultry vocals of Kitty Rae. ‘Working with Kitty Rae was so much fun! They’re honestly so charismatic and incredible to bounce ideas off in the studio. Kitty Rae absolutely brought this song to a whole new level! I can absolutely envision this song in the next Charlie’s Angels movie’ - Seetali

‘it was such a fun day in the vocal booth with them. It was great to collaborate and I’m excited to see what projects we might create in the future too!’ - Kitty Rae

It’s Not You; It’s Me is a journey that can only be described as a web of feeling, each track chaptered by different emotions, each character painting the experience with moments in time. Equal parts collaborator and creator, SEETALI's debut album features contributions from 10 artists, vocalists, and producers from Naarm/Melbourne, each working as a standalone message and part of the larger narrative. With intimately woven introspections of relationships and the consequent lessons of heartbreak, the material dives headfirst into declarations of love through album opener ‘Already Falling in Love’, and ‘Love You Blind’, with hooks and pop confections creating the backdrop for battles of head and heart in ‘Smoke’ and ‘Villain Never Dies’, and a symphony of cinematic pop and strings in recently released ‘Angel Eyes’. Moving through different layers of a synth filled atmosphere, the lyrics explore the inner workings of our inner critique in ‘Walked Away’ - a track described by triple j’s Claire Mooney as ‘An endearing track that swells big emotion’,  and ‘Pressure Points’, alongside the universal hardships of letting go with electropop bop and feature track ‘Learn To Let You Go’, and current single ‘Haunted’, as climbing beats close the album amongst a wash of reverb drenched choral harmonies for ‘Goodnight, Goodbye’.
