With a gossamer delicacy that floats in the air, the vocals and feather light acoustic guitars are ethereal, laced with an air of melancholy and a dreamy reverie. Harmonies weave throughout the gently floating instrumentation. - Arun Kendall, Backseat Mafia

“Some light, airy and beautiful pop folk. The harmonies!!!” – Lu Hill, triple j

Wandering through tales of love, loss, and their wonder of time, the duo “really wanted this record to be as authentic as possible. From the songwriting to the recording, to the album art, we wanted it to feel like a part of us, working with producer James Newhouse to focus on the authenticity and individuality of each track.

'Everything about the recording process with our producer James Newhouse felt authentic, which is how we’d hoped recording this album would be. There was a strong focus on what was right for the songs themselves and really making sure the meanings of the tracks came across in the production. All piano was recorded on a beautiful 9 ft grand in the Bunbury Entertainment Centre, there was something so special about hearing the notes ring out in a big room.' - Oceanique
