Jennifer Silva returns with sultry soul-stirrer ‘Landline’

Brooklyn based singer songwriter Jennifer Silva crafts soulful rhythm and blues music with a gloriously captivating ‘70s rock prowess. Her voice is marvellous, channeling the soul greats of a bygone era backed by slick production and heavenly harmonies akin to her modern day Australian counterparts Emma Donovan or Kylie Auldist. Jennifer’s latest single ‘Landline’ is her most soulful ballad to date and the first to be lifted from Silva’s forthcoming album, Purgatory Road.

Slow burning harmonies creep atop melodic organ, guitar, bass and nuanced percussion on ‘Landline’ before Jennifer’s tiptoeing voice picks up to glorious heights charging into the chorus as as she leap frogs the vocal scale in wonderful syncopations of vocal gymnastics.
