Charlie Needs Braces brings to life 'Dyarrubin' teaming up with Master Kapow
+ Upcoming Teskey Brothers support for A Day On The Green

Bringing a mixed media exploration of animation and film to her latest single 'Dyarrubin', Charlie Needs Braces releases the accompanying visual to her celebration and call to take care of our Country. With adds across community radio in Australia on RTRFM, PBS FM, 2SER, Edge Radio, and Koori Radio, 'Dyarrubin' is the first look at an exciting new chapter for the project, which will see Charlie and her sister Miri perform at Djerriwarrh Festival, The Town, and joining The Teskey Brothers in January 2025 for A Day On The Green.

Exploring a blend of animation and live footage of the Dyarrubin River, the inspiration for the single, the clip was created by producer and cinematographer Master Kapow. Vibrant colourful depictions of the local wildlife weave between scenes of the surrounding waterways and bushlands, and Charlie and Miri dancing amongst the trees and on the muddy banks. 'A highlight of filming was capturing the mullet fish with the drone camera. I flew riskily close to the river water but the results of seeing those fish jump out as the drone flew past was incredible', says Master Kapow.

We listened to the Bellbirds singing and watched the crabs crawling in and out of their homes on the riverbank. As the sun went down we tried to capture the silver mullet fish up close jumping out of the water and splashing back into the river using the Drone camera. We got a few shots and used them in the opening scenes. If you look really closely you can see the fish jumping on the water's surface.' - Charlie Needs Braces
